Erie Insurance has filed to withdraw its monoline Commercial Crime program in Wisconsin, effective May 1, 2026, for both new and renewal business.

The decision affects 18 active policies as of September 18, 2025, and marks the beginning of a phased withdrawal that will extend to all states.

The company stated that the existing program is duplicative, inefficient, and operates on a legacy system.

Its replacement, the web-based ErieSecure Business platform, is designed to streamline internal processes and improve the agent and customer experience.

Erie plans to collaborate with agents to transition eligible policyholders to ErieSecure Business, while others may need to secure alternative coverage.
