Foremost has filed revisions to its Antique and Classic Auto Program in Michigan that would produce an overall rate increase of 5.6%, compared with an indicated increase of 6.8%.
The filing affects 2,205 policyholders and $805,037 in written premium, with a projected premium increase of $44,849. Individual policy changes would range from a 6.8% decrease to a 22.5% increase.
Foremost plans to revise base rates for personal injury protection, standard collision and limited collision coverage. It is also introducing rating territories and corresponding territorial factors.
About 26% of policyholders would receive increases of at least 10%, all in the two highest-rated territories. No policyholders would receive decreases of 10% or more.
The filing requests effective dates of September 1, 2026, for new business and November 1, 2026, for renewals. The program is distributed through JC Taylor Antique Automobile Agency.
