Foremost is updating its Oregon Condominium Landlord Program with a rule change that loosens one of its underwriting restrictions. The filing, submitted on April 2, 2026, requests a revision to the insurance score guideline used for new business.
Under the change, applicants will be ineligible for new business only if they have a credit based insurance score below 375 in combination with a non credit related underwriting factor, down from the prior threshold of 425. The revision appears to widen eligibility by allowing more applicants with lower scores to qualify for coverage.
The filing is a rule only update and does not include rate changes. Foremost asked for the change to take effect on April 17, 2026, for new business.
