Metromile submitted a personal auto form filing in Oregon to update its pay-per-mile program, with requested effective dates of April 28, 2026, for new business and May 28, 2026, for renewals.

The filing revises the company’s Mileage Based Billing endorsement, including updates to mileage caps used in premium calculations for its telematics driven product. Premiums continue to consist of a base-charge plus per-mile rates for both manual and, where applicable, autonomous driving, with mileage collected through a telematics device or approved tracking method.

In addition, Metromile is introducing a new Wall Charger Coverage endorsement that provides up to $3,000 for loss or damage to a home electric vehicle charger installed at the insured’s primary garaging address. The coverage applies only when comprehensive coverage is in force, carries no deductible, and applies on an excess basis.
