The filing, effective November 19, 2025 for new business, carried no rate impact and applied only to new policies.

The change was tied to Lemonade’s distribution strategy, where group discounts are used to attract customers through employer and affinity partnerships. However, the filing was initially marked incomplete and later withdrawn on September 9, just a day after submission. Lemonade’s last approved Massachusetts rate change for pet insurance was a 17% increase effective August 2025.
