Lemonade has launched pet insurance in Kentucky, bringing the product to 44 states and Washington, D.C.

The policies cover diagnostics, procedures and medications for accidents and illnesses. Customers can choose their deductible, reimbursement rate and coverage limit, with optional coverage for vet visit fees, dental illness, physical therapy, behavioral conditions and end-of-life expenses. Preventive care packages are also available.

Kentucky customers can receive discounts for insuring multiple pets or bundling pet coverage with a Lemonade renters or homeowners policy.
