GEICO filed a new voluntary motorcycle and off road insurance program in New Jersey through GEICO General Insurance Company and GEICO Marine Insurance Company, with a requested effective date of February 11, 2027 for new business.

The program will be offered only to new business.

The filing introduces new manuals and rating structures for motorcycles, ATVs, golf carts, and snowmobiles, including discounts for advanced safety courses, motorcycle license endorsements, military service, paperless enrollment, auto pay, multi vehicle policies, and multi line relationships.

The program also includes optional coverages such as safety riding apparel protection, stored gear coverage, transport trailer physical damage coverage, emergency road service, and total loss coverage that pays the MSRP of a current year replacement vehicle for eligible newer models declared a total loss.

Additional underwriting and pricing variables include driving history, claims experience, financial responsibility scores, prior insurance, vehicle composition, ownership type, and policy tenure. The filing also outlines earned and purchased claim forgiveness programs for eligible policyholders.
