GEICO is loosening the eligibility requirements for several recreational vehicle coverages in Texas.

Customers will no longer need collision coverage to purchase or retain emergency expense, replacement cost for personal effects, Roof Advantage, Pest Shield or vacation liability coverage. Comprehensive coverage will still be required.

The change applies to new motorhome, travel trailer and utility trailer policies beginning September 10, 2026, and has no rate impact.
