GEICO has filed a new motorcycle and off-road insurance program in Georgia, proposing to place new customers with four underwriting companies while keeping existing customers with GEICO Indemnity.
The program would operate through GEICO Marine, GEICO Secure, GEICO Choice and GEICO Advantage. It introduces new rates, rules and rating factors, with manuals addressing motorcycles, ATVs, golf carts and snowmobiles.
The filing describes a pricing structure using statistical models and tier factors. For rating variables outside those models, GEICO says it based its proposed factors on those used by affiliated companies.
The program is intended for new business only. The filing reports no existing policyholders or written premium under the four-company program and no rate impact on existing customers. GEICO says the associated policy forms have already been approved in separate filings.
Submitted October 9, the rate and rule filing requests a December 10, 2026 effective date. Its status remained listed as submitted to the state in the supplied documents.
