GEICO introduced a new recreational vehicle insurance program in Maryland, expanding beyond personal auto.

The filing, submitted March 24, 2026, applies to new business only and takes effect April 9, 2026, with no rate change.

The program covers motorhomes, travel trailers, and utility trailers, with rating based on vehicle type, usage, mileage, and ownership. Coverage includes liability, UM/UIM, personal injury protection, and optional add-ons such as mechanical breakdown, roadside assistance, and pet injury.

It also includes a “Full Timer’s Package” for primary-use RVs and adds RV-specific protections like pest damage and roof coverage.
