CSAA Seeks Nevada Auto Rate Increase

CSAA General Insurance Company filed for an overall rate increase of 8% in Nevada, affecting private passenger auto, motorhome, and trailer policies.

The filing, submitted February 25, 2026, is scheduled to take effect July 1, 2026, for both new and renewal business. The increase would impact 71,377 policyholders and generate approximately $19.96 million in additional written premium. Current written premium is $249.4 million.

The company indicated that the adjustment is intended to address residual rate dislocation from prior capping approaches and included additional support to reduce the likelihood of objections related to premium disruption. MVR data used in the filing is sourced from LexisNexis.

If approved, the increase would follow a series of recent rate actions in the state, including +12.64% effective July 2025, +8.052% in July 2024, and +10% in March 2023.
