CSAA General Insurance Company has filed a rule change to its Private Passenger Automobile – Signature Series program in Virginia. Submitted August 26, 2025, the revision takes effect October 19, 2025, for both new and renewal business.

The update makes the Advance Shopping Discount easier to qualify for. Previously, the rule required a quote and insurance score at least eight days before the policy effective date; under the new filing, eligibility applies if the quote is initiated just one or more days in advance, provided the applicant has six months of prior coverage. No rate data, premium impact, or policyholder counts were disclosed.

This filing replaces rating rule pages last submitted under WSUN-133690828. CSAA’s Signature Series Auto product continues to evolve through incremental refinements, loosening access to discounts while avoiding broad rate shifts.
