CSAA General Insurance Company has filed to launch a new private passenger auto program in Idaho under the AAA Insurance brand. The program is slated to take effect January 11, 2027, for new business.

The form filing includes new documents such as cancellation and nonrenewal notices, applications, and declaration pages. Policy provisions address premium adjustments tied to changes in vehicles, operators, garaging, coverage, and limits.

Regulators flagged several issues, including the requirement that the program first be approved in CSAA’s domicile state, the improper use of bracketed information without a variability memorandum, and Idaho’s prohibition on “Me Too” filings. The Department has given the company 14 days to respond before potential disapproval.
