Utica National Adopts NCCI Loss Cost Decrease in Connecticut

The Utica National Insurance Group has filed to adopt the NCCI January 1, 2026 loss cost revision in Connecticut, affecting 2,175 workers’ compensation policyholders and $17 million in written premium. Renewal business will reflect the change starting December 1, 2025, followed by new business on January 1, 2026.

The filing keeps the group’s current LCM unchanged and results in an overall rate decrease of 4.2%, with company-specific impacts ranging from –2.4% to –6.1%. The update lowers total premium by an estimated $722,065. No red flags were noted.
