Stillwater Insurance Company has received approval for a form-only update to its Businessowners policy in Georgia, with changes taking effect March 9, 2026 for new business and April 28, 2026 for renewals.
The filing introduces several new and revised endorsements aimed at expanding non property protections for small businesses. Most notably, Stillwater is adding a Crisis Care Coverage endorsement that provides up to $50,000 in aggregate coverage for workplace crisis incidents, including counseling services, crisis management and public relations support, funeral and burial expenses, travel costs for family members, business income loss, temporary security guarding, and post incident preparedness and de escalation training.
The insurer is also updating its Service Line Coverage endorsement, which covers physical damage to exterior underground piping and wiring such as water, sewer, electric, gas, and communications lines. Coverage limits vary based on building age, with up to $25,000 available for newer buildings and lower limits for older structures, while continuing to include excavation, spoilage, business income, and expediting expense coverage within the overall limit.
In addition, Stillwater has revised its Cyber Suite Enhanced Coverage endorsement, maintaining protections for data compromise response costs, cyber extortion, computer fraud, misdirected payment fraud, and business interruption from cyber events.
