Starr Indemnity & Liability Insurance Company has filed multiple form submissions in Florida tied to the launch of its Authentic Businessowners Program, a new Commercial Multi-Peril package aimed at small businesses, according to filings with the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation .
The filings include Professional Liability (Errors and Omissions), Liquor Liability, and Employment Practices Liability, all linked to Starr’s broader Commercial Multi-Peril filing.
For professional liability, Starr is introducing a claims-made Errors and Omissions coverage form along with proprietary endorsements addressing designated entities and operations, professional services, and extended reporting periods for educators. The filing also includes Florida-specific amendments covering punitive damages, asbestos hazards, and cancellation and nonrenewal provisions.
The liquor liability filing adds endorsements tailored to alcohol-related risks, including exclusions for hazards insured elsewhere and assault and battery. Coverage is structured to apply excess of other available insurance, consistent with typical liquor liability program design.
Starr also filed an Employment Practices Liability component under the Authentic Businessowners Program, offering claims-made coverage for employment-related claims such as discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination.
