Spinnaker Insurance Company is taking over the Lawyers’ Professional Liability – LawGold Program in Florida through a rate and rule filing, replacing KnightBrook Insurance Company as the carrier. The program, targeting small law firms with up to 40 attorneys, will now be written on Spinnaker paper with no changes to core rates, rules, or coverages.

The filing, submitted by Boost Insurance on July 7, 2025, maintains the program’s existing structure and pricing, with only minor administrative updates. Amwins continues to manage the program, which focuses on standard-risk firms with clean claims histories. No rate hikes are proposed, and Florida-specific adjustments reduce the maximum individual risk debit from 50% to 25%.
