Lemonade submitted its initial Florida private passenger auto filing, introducing policy forms for a new personal auto program with a requested effective date of June 30, 2026.
The filing outlines a fully digital auto insurance product, with policy applications tied to Lemonade’s digital sign up process and data sourced from third party databases. The forms include coverage for wall chargers for electric vehicles, benefits and rewards programs, and custom parts coverage.
The policy also includes restrictions around ride sharing, delivery activity, and vehicle sharing programs, while emphasizing disclosure requirements for household drivers and vehicle usage.
Corresponding rates and rules are expected in a separate filing “in the very near future,” according to the company.
