Jewelers Mutual Cyber Liability Filing in Connecticut

Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company, SI, a Wisconsin-domiciled insurer specializing in the jewelry industry with an A+ A.M. Best rating, submitted a form filing in Connecticut to amend its Cyber Liability Endorsement (CY 04 01). The changes, effective January 1, 2026, for both new and renewal business, add clarifying language around cyber war, operational system events, and widespread events.

The filing also updates Rule 14 to mandate use of Cyber Liability Endorsement CY 04 01 and Supplemental Extended Reporting Period CY 04 03, while requiring the War and Cyber War Exclusion (CY 21 01) whenever the endorsement is attached. While Wisconsin (JM’s domicile) still lists the filing as pending, Connecticut recorded it effective as submitted.

Jewelers Mutual launched its Cyber Liability program in 2017 with TMHCC as its program partner.
