Federal Warranty Service Corporation, part of Assurant, filed in Nevada to add a Spanish-language version of its Harbor Freight Service Plan, with approval pending. The English version was approved on September 18, 2025.
The plan offers one- and two-year coverage for repair or replacement of products damaged by operational failure or power surges, provided a certified surge protector is used. Obligations are insured by American Bankers Insurance Company of Florida, and Nevada regulations specify that paid claims cannot be deducted from refunds upon cancellation.
