The filing replaces brochures and training materials approved in 2022 and supports the insurer’s Connected Device Insurance Protection program originally approved in 2020.

The updated Spectrum Mobile Protection Plan brochure outlines monthly pricing tiers ranging from $7 to $18 per device and coverage for accidental damage, mechanical and electrical failures, loss, and theft. The program also includes no-fee early upgrades for eligible financed devices, technical support through Pocket Geek by Assurant, and next-business-day replacement shipping for approved claims.

The filing also includes a revised employee training module designed to help Spectrum Mobile associates explain plan benefits, eligibility requirements, claims handling, and regulatory disclosures to customers.
