Aspen American Insurance Company is rebranding its Lawyers Professional Liability program in Arkansas, removing all references to “Lawyers Protector Plan,” “Protector Plan,” “Brown & Brown,” and “B&B.” The program was previously managed by B&B Protector Plans, Inc., which handled underwriting, policy issuance, and claims administration on Aspen’s behalf.
The filing, approved on July 22, 2025, includes a new set of revised forms and applications under the renamed program, effective January 1, 2026. Among the changes are updated declarations, a simplified “ASAP!” application, and new supplemental forms covering areas like intellectual property, securities, and attorney practice areas. All applications follow a “claims-made and reported” format and include updated fraud warnings and claims-reporting guidelines.
