AmTrust – via Technology Insurance Company – submitted a new rule filing in Alabama for its approved Renters Insurance Program.
The filing introduces a Preferred Property factor of 0.65 for large, professionally managed apartment communities with more than 100 units and an on-site manager.
Although no policies are currently in force, the filing outlines premium structures for both monthly and annual policies, defines cancellation terms, and details optional coverages including pet damage, bed bug remediation, and scheduled personal property. There is no rate impact associated with the filing.
