Technology Insurance Company, part of AmTrust, has filed a new endorsement in Massachusetts that allows customers to purchase annual travel insurance plans. The filing, which was placed on file by the Massachusetts Division of Insurance on July 2, 2026, introduces an optional Annual Plan endorsement without changing rates or the company’s existing travel insurance manuals.
The endorsement will be used with Technology Insurance Company’s travel insurance products approved in 2024 and enables prospective insureds to select annual coverage options. According to the filing, it has no impact on the company’s rate manuals and will be issued with the previously approved Schedule of Benefits.
Under the new endorsement, an annual policy becomes effective on the later of the application date, the effective date shown on the purchase confirmation, or the date the required premium is paid. Coverage ends at the expiration of the paid policy period or on the 364th day after premium payment, whichever comes first.
