Technology Insurance Company, part of AmTrust filed a new endorsement for its AmTrustCyber policy in Wisconsin introducing explicit coverage for computer fraud.
The update adds “Computer Fraud” to the policy’s cyber deception definition, covering losses resulting from unauthorized access to a company’s systems that lead to fraudulent transfers of money or securities.
The endorsement clarifies boundaries by excluding losses tied to authorized access, fraudulent instructions, funds transfer fraud, and payment card misuse.
Coverage is subject to a sublimit that sits within, not on top of, the existing cyber deception limit, signaling no expansion of overall limits.
The change is offered as an optional endorsement at no additional premium and carries no rate impact.
The filing was submitted on a file and use basis, with availability beginning April 15, 2026.
