Travelers Prepares Wrap 2.0

Travelers is preparing to launch Wrap 2.0, an updated management liability program supported by a new policy issuance platform.

According to a Connecticut filing, the program will replace Travelers’ existing Modular offering and introduce updated forms for employment practices liability, fiduciary liability, nonprofit directors and officers coverage, and private company directors and officers coverage.

Customers moving from Modular to Wrap 2.0 will generally receive the broader of the terms contained in their expiring and renewal policies for one year following the expiration of the former policy, subject to certain exceptions.

The filing includes a broad collection of optional endorsements addressing biometric data, downsizing, redlining, wage-and-hour claims, independent contractors, data and privacy incidents, artificial intelligence, antitrust, deceptive marketing, and other exposures.

Travelers requested a September 1, 2027, effective date for new and renewal business, citing the time needed to implement its new policy issuance platform. Rates and rules are being submitted separately where required.

The Connecticut filing remains under regulatory review.
