Travelers has added a new optional homeowners endorsement in Arkansas that covers the cost to upgrade a roof to Insurance Institute for Business and Home Safety (IBHS) FORTIFIED standards after a covered hail loss.

Approved on January 13, 2026, the forms-only update applies to Travelers’ Quantum Homeowners and Quantum High Value Homeowners programs and takes effect for renewals on June 1, 2026, with no rate impact. The endorsement allows roof replacement using impact-resistant materials and FORTIFIED construction methods (Silver or Gold), subject to Coverage A limits, with certification valid for five years.
