PURE Files Personal Auto Rate Increase in Georgia

Privilege Underwriters Reciprocal Exchange (PURE), part of Tokio Marine Group, filed in Georgia to revise its Personal Auto program with an overall rate increase of 6.9%, based on a credibility-weighted indication of 16.4%. The filing affects 2,996 policyholders and $20.5 million in written premium, representing an expected premium increase of about $1.4 million.

Adjustments include revisions to base rates and incident factors, supported by the Attract One insurance score model from LexisNexis. PURE compared competitor filings from Safeco and State Farm when determining catastrophe load assumptions.

The insurer, which serves the high-net-worth personal lines market through brokers, notes that no-hit credit profiles are rated neutrally.

The last approved rate change was an 11.3% increase effective February 2025.
