PURE is expanding eligibility for a water leak detection credit under its high-value homeowners program in Illinois.

The credit will now be available in PURE-approved condominium, cooperative and apartment buildings monitored around the clock by a system that alerts an on-premises individual who can enter a residence and shut off the source of a leak.

The change takes effect November 15, 2026, for new business and January 7, 2027, for renewals. It has no overall rate impact and applies to approximately $39.9 million of in-force premium across 5,273 locations.
