NC Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company filed an update to its Businessowners program in North Carolina, effective March 1, 2026.

The filing revises the Businessowners application to remove certain deductible options, including the $500 deductible and the $1,000 wind and hail deductible, reducing the range of available selections and simplifying the coverage structure.

The updated application also includes underwriting questions regarding whether the applicant is engaged in cannabis, CBD, or hemp related sales.

The filing was approved on February 19, 2026.
