Westchester Fire Insurance Company, part of Chubb, submitted a filing in Nevada to update its Pet Health Insurance program, which was approved on August 22, 2025. The changes take effect October 1, 2025, for both new and renewal business.

The update introduces a tiered discount structure for Corporate Group programs and Strategic Benefit Partners, with no current policyholders impacted. Westchester also added language allowing for non-insurance perks—or “value-added benefits”—at no extra cost. These include services like veterinary consultations, concierge support, lost pet recovery, fitness monitoring, genetic testing, and community platforms. While these features add value, they do not impact policyholder rates, as costs are expected to be offset by lower claims.
