ACE American Insurance Company, part of the Chubb Group, has filed with the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation to introduce optional cyber insurance endorsements for its Psychologists’ Professional Liability program. Submitted on April 17, 2025, the filing requests an effective date of September 30, 2025, for both new and renewal policies.
The proposed endorsements offer two cyber coverage options: First-Party Cyber Coverage and Combined First- and Third-Party Cyber Coverage. These endorsements are intended for use with existing occurrence and claims-made policy forms and are tailored to members of the Psychologists Purchasing Group Association.
The coverage includes protection for cyber incident response, business interruption, contingent business interruption, digital data recovery, network extortion, and third-party liability. Available limits range from $25,000 to $1,000,000, with standardized deductibles. Premiums vary based on group size and selected limits. The application process emphasizes cyber hygiene controls such as multifactor authentication, third-party vendor disclosures, encryption, and formal incident response procedures.
Trust Risk Management Services, Inc. is listed as the third-party administrator for the program.
