Allstate Modernizes Oregon Auto Book Through ANAIC Migration

Allstate submitted a filing in Oregon outlining a plan to transition more than 62,000 personal auto policies from Allstate Insurance Company, Allstate Property and Casualty Insurance Company, and Allstate Fire and Casualty Insurance Company into Allstate North American Insurance Company (ANAIC), starting with renewals effective September 13, 2026.

According to the filing, most customers will be renewed into ANAIC “to provide access to a modernized product,” while approximately 383 policyholders without a comparable replacement product will receive nonrenewal notices. The affected book includes 6,729 policies from Allstate Insurance Company, 3,777 from Allstate Property and Casualty Insurance Company, and 51,632 from Allstate Fire and Casualty Insurance Company.

The transition will occur in phases over a 12 month period, beginning with standard risks written through Allstate’s exclusive agent and direct channels, followed by more complex and independent agent business.

The filing also includes detailed notices describing coverage changes under ANAIC. Among the changes, certain deductibles, coverage limits, and discounts will no longer be available, roadside assistance will move outside the auto policy, and some optional endorsements and legacy coverages will be discontinued. New exclusions tied to vehicle sharing, communicable diseases, nuclear hazards, and vehicles used as residences are also being added.

Allstate stated that policy servicing and claims handling will remain unchanged and that future filings will formally withdraw the legacy forms, rules, and rates once the migration is complete.
