Allstate Updates Nevada Multi-Policy Discount Rules

Allstate is changing how it defines “qualifying companies” in Nevada personal lines. The goal is simple. Match discount eligibility to how the company sells policies today.

The update covers homeowners, auto, renters, condo, landlord, and umbrella. It takes effect June 30, 2026 for new and renewal business.

The key change narrows who qualifies for multi policy and home and auto discounts. Allstate now ties eligibility to its own brands and Castle Key. These carriers sell through exclusive agents, call centers, or Allstate digital channels.

The company removes several affiliates from eligibility. These include Esurance, Encompass, National General subsidiaries, and surplus lines carriers.

The discount itself does not change. Homeowners keep a 0.80 factor, or about 20% off. Renters keep a 0.90 factor, or about 10% off.

The update reflects how Allstate already operates. It keeps discounts inside its core branded ecosystem.
