PURE Seeks Auto Rate Increase in Idaho

Privilege Underwriters Reciprocal Exchange (PURE) has filed for a 3.9% overall rate increase for its private fleet auto program in Idaho.

The filing affects 604 policyholders covering 1,848 vehicles and approximately $1.6 million in written premium. Individual policy changes would range from a 5.6% decrease to a 57.1% increase.

PURE’s actuarial analysis indicated a 7.6% increase. The proposed changes include revised base rates and increased-limit factors, the elimination of a rate adjustment factor, and updated factors for drivers with at-fault accidents or speeding incidents.

The high-net-worth insurer previously implemented a 14.9% increase in Idaho in November 2025.

The new rates are expected to take effect on November 15, 2026, for new business and January 1, 2027, for renewals.
