Spinnaker Insurance Company has filed to introduce a new farm and equine insurance program in Texas.

The product, branded Bascule Farm, includes farmowners property and liability coverage alongside a range of equine-specific options. Available coverages include equine professional services liability, care, custody and control, private horse liability, horse transit liability and coverage for horses sold while in transit.

The program can also address commercial operations such as horse boarding, breeding, training, shows, camps and sales. Optional protections extend to farm equipment, cyber risks, inland marine exposures, recreational vehicles, hunting and fishing activities, and residences rented to others.

Spinnaker is adopting forms from the American Association of Insurance Services and supplementing them with proprietary forms.

The filing was submitted on July 22, 2026, with an effective date upon approval.
