Submitted on August 22, 2025, with an effective date of October 11, 2025, the filing updates the prior December 2022 edition to clarify coverage for certain watercraft exposures. Specifically, the endorsement confirms coverage applies while the watercraft is afloat, limited to vessels under 26 feet in length and no more than 50 horsepower.
The endorsement, offered through the American Council of Engineering Companies’ endorsed insurance agent, is available to engineering and architecture firms under class codes 65751 and 65761. It defines terms such as “consulting engineer’s property,” “engineer’s rental reimbursement expense,” and “engineer’s rental reimbursement period of restoration.” The filing memorandum states there is no rate or rule impact associated with the change.
