The Hartford has filed a revised commercial general liability endorsement in Georgia to address updated insurance requirements for tenants and contractors working with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
The revised endorsement changes the additional insured wording from liability “arising out of” the policyholder’s ongoing operations to liability “caused in whole or in part by” those operations performed for the Port Authority.
The Hartford describes the changes as editorial, with no rate impact. It says it is filing the endorsement countrywide because businesses based outside New York and New Jersey also perform work for the Port Authority.
The filing covers eight Hartford underwriting companies and requests a March 6, 2027 effective date for new and renewal business. It was submitted October 26 and remains pending.
