Acacia Updates Texas Auto Guidelines to Align with SB1238

Redpoint County Mutual, through Acacia Insurance Managers, has revised its underwriting guidelines for Texas personal auto to comply with Senate Bill 1238. The update replaces guidelines filed under S730273 and applies to new and renewal business effective September 1, 2025.

Agents must bind applications online via acaciamga.com, with instant issuance of declarations, ID cards, and endorsements. The customer portal supports digital documents, EFT discounts, and SMS payment reminders. Policy terms range from one to six months with direct billing only, while fees include policy, installment, reinstatement, SR-22, and endorsement charges.

Eligibility rules exclude antique and high-end vehicles, as well as drivers over 75 (without approval), those with adverse claims, or a history of fraud. Discounts include multicar, prior insurance, electronic delivery, and seven-day advance quote.
