Root Republic Managing General Agency, formerly known as Caliope General Agency, has filed its first set of private passenger auto forms with Texas regulators in preparation for launching a new personal auto insurance program in the state. The June 25 filing (SERFF #CLIN-134581960) includes 12 forms to be underwritten by Redpoint County Mutual Insurance Company.
The filing marks the agency’s rebranding and operational rollout under the Root Republic name, with the agency now designated as the general agent for Redpoint. It adopts previously approved forms updated to reflect the new branding, with no changes to coverage or rating—only administrative updates to reflect the new agency identity.
Included in the filing are required forms such as policy declarations, the Texas personal auto policy, and various notices, along with optional forms like the OEM parts replacement endorsement and excluded driver acknowledgments. All policies will be issued through Redpoint, with Root Republic serving as the managing general agent.
