Selective clarified that the product is purely a value-added service, meaning it will not affect underwriting decisions, premiums, surcharges, or discounts. The service is positioned as part of broader loss control and risk mitigation efforts for property clients.

The fire blanket offering is scheduled to be available starting June 1, 2025, pending regulatory approval.
