Hartford Fire Insurance Company filed a new Media, Arts & Entertainment commercial inland marine program in Idaho with a requested effective date of April 11, 2026.
The filing transfers entertainment inland marine business previously written by Navigators onto Hartford’s paper following its acquisition of the company. The product supports media productions, live events, and related operations and will be used alongside Hartford’s existing inland marine platform.
Coverage includes performance disruption protection for business income and extra expense when productions are delayed or cancelled, theatrical property and equipment, third-party property damage, hardware and media, and catastrophe perils such as flood, earthquake, and windstorm.
Additional features include business income and extra expense, contingent interruption, utility service interruption, public relations costs, contract penalties, and other production-related extensions. Performance disruption coverage applies after a waiting period equal to the greater of three consecutive performances or three days, unless otherwise specified.
