Berkley Select offers policyholders of its ExecShield employment practices liability insurance program access to an HR hotline and a self-service resource portal.

The hotline is staffed by HR professionals who answer employment law questions, while the portal provides resources designed to help prevent and manage workplace-related issues. Policyholders and producers receive access instructions after a policy takes effect, and use of the services is unlimited.

The services, which are provided through an unnamed vendor, were first offered in December 2017. According to a Vermont filing by W. R. Berkley subsidiary Carolina Casualty Insurance Company, the average cost to the insurer equals 0.86% of average premium and is not passed on to policyholders.
