Admiral Indemnity Company is updating its commercial general liability program for restaurants in Massachusetts, introducing several new exclusions and revising existing endorsements.
The new forms include exclusions addressing Legionella bacteria, punitive damages, human and sex trafficking, construction risks, liquor liability, and abuse or molestation. Admiral is also replacing its existing PFAS exclusion with a revised version containing broader definitions of PFAS and government authority.
Other changes include raising the coverage provided by the valet parking endorsement from $35,000 to $50,000 while increasing the deductible from $500 to $5,000. Admiral is also introducing an optional self-insured retention endorsement.
The Massachusetts Division of Insurance placed the filing on file on July 16. The changes take effect December 1, 2026, for new and renewal business.
