SiriusPoint America Insurance Company filed a new rate program in Idaho for a Tuition and Program Fee Protection Policy designed for the higher education market. The February 25, 2026 filing is effective on approval for both new business and renewals.

The new product protects students and parents against the loss of tuition and program fees if a student withdraws due to illness or injury. The program is new to the state, with no existing policyholders or premium currently in force, and an expected average annual premium of $310 per policy.

Rates were developed with support from third-party actuarial firm Lewis & Ellis. The coverage will be distributed through licensed producers, brokers, and consultants.
