Employers Mutual Casualty Company (EMC) filed a rate revision in Georgia for its Law Enforcement program, requesting a 14.7% overall increase effective August 1, 2026, for both new and renewal business.

The filing applies to a single policyholder and approximately $3,061 in written premium. The proposed change reflects a 10.1% increase to base rates for full time officers and an additional 4.2% impact from revised deductible factors.

EMC indicated that the Georgia book is limited and relies primarily on countrywide experience to support the rate adjustment due to low state specific premium volume. The company, domiciled in Iowa, last implemented a 15.0% increase for the program effective October 1, 2021.
