SiriusPoint America Insurance Company has submitted a form filing in Oregon introducing a new Enhanced Debris Removal endorsement for its Distinguished Inland Marine product, applicable to Motor Truck Cargo risks.
The endorsement expands the Debris Removal Coverage Extension to include towing, storage, demolition, clearing, and removal costs resulting from a covered loss. It also extends debris removal protection to intermodal containers, trailers, and other carrying conveyances, including equipment or supplies associated with those units.
Coverage is limited to 25% of the amount paid for direct physical loss or damage, with an additional $10,000 available when debris removal expenses exceed that threshold or when combined costs exceed the property limit. Expenses must be reported within 180 days of the loss.
The endorsement will be mandatory for the Motor Truck Cargo Legal Liability Reporting Form and optional for the non reporting form, and there is no additional premium associated with the change.
The filing was submitted on February 11, 2026, and would become effective upon regulatory approval.
