Concert Insurance has filed a new Residents Liability Insurance Program in Nevada, seeking approval to offer renters liability coverage through a group insurance arrangement administered by property owners or managers.
According to the filing, the program provides personal liability coverage for bodily injury and property damage occurring at the insured location, along with medical payments coverage for injuries sustained by others on the premises. The filing also includes a series of optional endorsements covering limited personal property, pet damage, animal liability, biohazard clean-up, bed bug remediation, water backup, refrigerated property, and additional living expenses.
The program is structured around a group policy issued to a property owner or property manager, with individual residents receiving certificates of insurance. Coverage may also be provided on a lessor-placed basis when a resident fails to provide proof of insurance required under a lease agreement.
The filing, submitted on June 11, 2026, remains under review by Nevada regulators. If approved, the program would become effective upon regulatory approval. The filing includes new forms, rates, and rules associated with the product.
