One Alliance North America is introducing a new private passenger auto program in Florida, with an effective date of May 15, 2026.
The move comes as the carrier expands under new ownership and branding. Effective January 1, 2025, One Alliance Holdings and its subsidiaries, including One Alliance North America Insurance Company and One Alliance Insurance Managers, were acquired by 5B Alliance and joined the One Alliance Insurance group of companies. On January 30, 2026, Universal North America officially changed its name to One Alliance North America Insurance Company following that acquisition, aligning the carrier with the broader One Alliance brand.
One Alliance North America currently operates in Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Nevada, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Texas, with Georgia added in 2025.
Its existing product lineup includes homeowners, dwelling fire, renters, condos, Business Owners coverage in Florida, and National Flood Insurance Program products. In 2026, the company plans to add auto insurance, private flood, broader BOP offerings across several states, and commercial lines.
In Florida, the new filing lays out a full personal auto framework covering rates, rules, and underwriting.
Overall, the filing marks One Alliance’s entry into Florida personal auto as part of a broader product expansion strategy, adding another line to a carrier that has been repositioning itself following its acquisition and rebrand.
