Next Insurance has introduced a new Professional Liability program in California, filed under the Commercial Other Liability line of business.

The program is designed for small and mid-sized businesses in non-medical classes, offering tailored coverage through Next’s proprietary platform.

The filing, submitted September 12, 2025, requests an effective date of November 15, 2025 for both new and renewal business. It includes policies for professions such as architects, engineers, accountants, and lawyers, along with a wide range of endorsements covering services from real estate and mortgage bankers to consultants and social workers.

In developing rates, Next benchmarked against competitors including Hiscox, Hanover, Hartford, and State National, with adjustments based on class-specific exposures.
